Any Jurassic Park fans out there? Check out Dobby Stones‘ take on the closing theme.
Keep an eye out for The Love Tape, coming this summer
Such a great take on a classic track that would in most cases be a pointless effort to remix. Being a hip hop legend, DOOM knows how to rework it, and make it something different from the original but not a disappointment. I wish he did remixes of more classic tracks, but I also wish I could speak every language on earth.
To put it quite simply, this is the greatest song ever. So my Nujabes history isn’t as spot on as other producers, so correct me if I’m wrong, but from what I’ve found it seems as though Uyama Hiroto is credited with the remix, so Nujabes doesn’t really deserve production credits, unless you realize that Hiroto remixed according to Cise‘s lyrics, which were originally designed for Nujabes’ production, so when you examine the tower of contingency:
Uyama Hiroto’s Remix
Cise Star’s Verses
– you can accredit the whole thing to Nujabes.
Here’s the original:
Having recently listened to Owl Pharaoh, anytime I see Travi$ Scott‘s name I get excited. I heard him on the XXL Freshman class cypher, the first time I saw that dude and he was impressive, even though it was a recycled verse off of his mixtape. His production is so raw, and he gets credits on this banger along with Chi-town bumper Young Chop, No ID & KeY Wane.
Hope you’ve got bass boy.
Posting strictly for the name. The song’s not bad. On the contrary, it’s good.
Pretty fresh, innit? It’s not every day that you get a mix of classic, smooth hip-hop heartily remixed like this.
Just some ill Pharoahe Monch, Lady Luck, Pharoahe Monch, Redman, Method Man, Busta Rhymes, and Shaabam Shadeeq for you.
It seems that everything he touches just turns to gold. You just have to go with your gut and hear this one.
